Set sail with us on your own private catamaran charter. You'll enjoy the morning breezes of the Mexican Caribbean surrounded by your family and friends aboard the Paso Doble. You can snorkel, swim, or just enjoy the tropical beauty of the Riviera Maya. Our 46-foot catamaran is yours for the morning. We specialize in weddings, family reunions, memorial services, corporate events, and other occasions to remember.
At Paradise Catamarans, we work hard to create memories to last a lifetime. Our 46-foot catamaran has been customized for fun and comfort, with plenty of room to stretch out and easy access to the water.
"Each and every person could not have said better things about the trip! The crew was amazingly skilled and friendly, the boat was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the snorkeling was beautiful, and they had a few fun and considerate surprises up their sleeve in honor of our wedding!"
--Sarah B.
The Mexican Caribbean is our home, and we'll treat you to an experience you won't find anywhere else. For the snorkeling portion of your charter tour, we've picked a pristine location off Punta Maroma. While the beach at Punta Maroma is famous for its powdery white sands, the turquoise waters offshore offer snorkelers and swimmers a crystal-clear view of one of the most extensive reef formations along the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. The area is sheltered from strong currents, providing a natural sanctuary to a wide array of tropical marine life and an underwater playground for visitors of all skill levels.
You'll swim at your own pace above the seabed below, with an unhurried view of the coral reef and marine life, under the supervision of your snorkeling guide. A "Fish Identification Card" is available upon request to help you better understand the diversity of the Riviera Maya ecosystem. Whether you are snorkeling in the shallows or exploring deeper areas that extend down to 25 feet, you'll enjoy every minute of your time in the water.
Because safety always comes first at Paradise Catamarans, our English-speaking host will conduct a safety briefing as we set sail and provide snorkeling instruction once we reach the reef. We employ professional snorkeling guides with CPR and first aid certifications. One of our guides is assigned to supervise no more than twelve snorkelers.
Our top-quality equipment complements the professionalism of our guides. You'll appreciate our semi-dry, high-performance snorkels. Unlike the cheaper models commonly provided to tourists, the purge valves in semi-dry snorkels minimize the amount of water entering the breathing tubes. Moreover, all of our equipment is sterilized after each use. (For the sake of the environment, we encourage our guests to use the sterilized, high-performance snorkels we stock. However, new single-use snorkel tubes are also available.)
In addition to the fun in the water, relaxing on the Paso Doble has its own rewards. Our guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary ceviche, guacamole, salsa and totopos (tortilla chips), rum, gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila, popular mixers, beer, wine, soda, juice, and bottled water. As an option, you may request a premium international open bar and/or our flavor-packed fajita spread. The menu features marinated skirt steak, chicken, and grilled vegetables served with warm corn tortillas. Complementing the fajitas are fresh guacamole, Mexican salsa (pico de gallo), and refried beans. Groups of 10 or more guests will be joined by their own personal chef on board. The Paso Doble also features a shaded seating area, a high-quality sound system, and bathroom facilities. We invite our guests to plug in their smartphones or other USB-enabled devices, or play their own CDs.
Charter schedule: Please click our tour schedule calendar (see the link below) to find a date that fits your plans. Our charter rates feature four full hours aboard the Paso Doble.
How to Meet Us: We can arrange transportation as an option from many of the leading hotels and resorts between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Otherwise, you can meet us at Marina El Cid in Puerto Morelos. Puerto Morelos is roughly midway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. You will access Puerto Morelos from Highway 307, the main north-south road along the Mayan Riviera. As you approach Puerto Morelos, turn east toward the ocean onto Calle Jose Maria Morelos. Continue for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach Puerto Morelos. Turn south on Niños Héroes and continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach Marina El Cid. At the gate of the marina, please inform the attendant that you are a guest of Paradise Catamarans. Parking is available inside the marina.
14 days before your tour, we will send you an email to remind you of where and when to meet us.
