Sunset on the Mayan Riviera is our favorite time of day. You'll understand how we feel when you experience our sunset sailing tour aboard the Paso Doble. There's no better place to soak up the last rays of the tropical sun than our graceful 46-foot catamaran as we cruise up the Caribbean coastline.
"We are so incredibly happy that we chose to get married in Paradise and will always remember your beautiful boat, the incredible crew, and amazing scenery. We also cannot thank you enough for working with my family to go above and beyond for our wedding party!"
We take special pride in the comfort and cleanliness of our customized catamaran. If conditions are right, we won't even turn on the engines and instead allow the Caribbean breezes to provide the wind power for our tour. If there's a cruise ship nearby, we'll often be able to get an ocean view you won't find anywhere else. Speaking of views, the water is the only place to be to fully appreciate the spectacular beauty of a Mayan Riviera sunset. You'll watch with awe as the sun gradually melts into the lush backdrop of the Yucatan.
In addition to the thrill of sailing, relaxing on the Paso Doble has its own rewards. Our guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary ceviche, guacamole, salsa and totopos (tortilla chips), rum, gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila, popular mixers, beer, wine, soda, juice, and bottled water. As an option, you may request a premium international open bar and/or assortment of hors d'oeuvres and sandwiches. Our hors d'oeuvres and sandwiches menu typically includes roast beef baguettes, biscuits with prosciutto and cheese, croissants with ham and cheese, tropical garden and lettuce salad, fresh Mexican salsa with chips, and fresh fruit. The Paso Doble also features a shaded seating area, a high-quality sound system, and bathroom facilities. We invite our guests to plug in their smartphones or other USB-enabled devices, or play their own CDs.
Charter schedule: Please click our tour schedule calendar (see the link below) to find a date that fits your plans. Our sunset charter rates feature three full hours aboard the Paso Doble.
How to Meet Us: We can arrange transportation as an option from many of the leading hotels and resorts between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Otherwise, you can meet as at Marina El Cid in Puerto Morelos. Puerto Morelos is roughly midway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. You will access Puerto Morelos from Highway 307, the main north-south road along the Mayan Riviera. As you approach Puerto Morelos, turn east toward the ocean onto Calle Jose Maria Morelos. Continue for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach Puerto Morelos. Turn south on Niños Héroes and continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach Marina El Cid. At the gate of the marina, please inform the attendant that you are a guest of Paradise Catamarans. Parking is available inside the marina.
14 days before your tour, we will send you an email to remind you of where and when to meet us.
What to Bring: We will provide beverages. You should consider bringing the following items:
Smartphones, iPods, and CDs.
Refunds and Balance Payments: You will receive a full refund if you cancel your reservation at least 7 days in advance. We also ask that you submit any changes to your guest list at least 3 days before your charter so we can finalize our preparations for transportation, food, and staffing. Needless to say, you will receive a full refund if weather conditions or other factors force us to cancel your reservation. Balance payments in Mexico must be paid in cash with U.S. dollars or Mexican pesos. If you wish to pay your balance in advance by credit card, a surcharge of 4 percent of the payment amount will be charged to your credit card.
