Priced for groups of up to 10 guests.
Our full-day tour gives you an opportunity to enjoy both the sand and sea of the Mayan Riviera. Our 46-foot catamaran will take you out on the water of the Mexican Caribbean to snorkel, swim, and sail. On land, we'll visit a crystal clear fresh-water pool known as a cenote and then treat you to one of the finest beaches along the Riviera Maya and a delicious fajita buffet (optional). If you're hosting a wedding, family reunion, corporate event, or other special occasion, a full day of togetherness will create memories to last a lifetime.
The Mexican Caribbean is our home, and we'll treat you to an experience you won't find anywhere else. The fun begins as soon as you step aboard our 46-foot catamaran. We've customized our boat for your comfort and convenience, with plenty of room to stretch out and easy access to the water. With a full day available, we will show you two of the Riviera Maya's aquatic treasures.
Snorkeling at In-Ha
Your first stop will be the secluded In-Ha inlet. Sheltered from strong currents and shaped roughly like a horseshoe, In-Ha provides a natural sanctuary to tropical marine life and offers underwater attractions for all skill levels. Depths range from 3 to 12 feet.
You'll swim at your own pace above the seabed below, with an unhurried view of the coral reef and marine life. The "Fish Identification Card" we issue to each snorkeler will help you better understand the diversity of the Riviera Maya ecosystem. Whether you are snorkeling in the shallows or exploring deeper areas, you'll enjoy every minute of your time in the water.
Because safety always comes first at Paradise Catamarans, we employ some of the best English-speaking guides in the business. At minimum, each guide is certified in rescue diving and most are full-fledged divemasters. One of our professional guides is assigned to supervise no more than twelve snorkelers.
Our top-quality equipment complements the professionalism of our guides. You'll appreciate our semi-dry snorkels. Unlike the cheaper models commonly provided to tourists, the purge valves in semi-dry snorkels minimize the amount of water entering the breathing tubes. Moreover, all of our equipment is thoroughly sanitized after each use.
A cenote escape
Our second water activity will introduce you to the Yucatan's fascinating cenotes. Cenotes are fresh-water sinkholes that connect to underground bodies of water. For example, the cenote you'll visit is linked to a submerged cave system. The Mayans believed that the cenotes were gateways to the afterlife. You'll quickly appreciate their supernatural pull once you enter their pristine waters.
Lunch on the beach
After you've worked up an appetite in the water, it's time to dry off at Rancho Punta Venado. If you've selected the meal option, lunch will be served beneath a canopy of palapas overlooking the Caribbean. The buffet menu is a perfect match for the setting -- chicken fajitas, rice, beans, salad, Mexican salsa, tortillas, and fresh fruit. Beer (maximum of three), soft drinks, and water are also available.
After lunch, there's no better place to relax than the unspoiled strip of powdery sand that runs along the In-Ha inlet. (Rancho Punta Venado also offers activities for the adventurous, such as horseback riding and ATV exploration.)
The wind in your sails
Your day concludes with the sailing trip aboard our catamaran back to Puerto Aventuras. With the afternoon sun setting over the Yucatan and the gentle breezes of the Caribbean lifting your spirits, you'll find that relaxing on the Paso Doble has its own rewards. Our guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. As an option, you may request our open bar service. Our selection of adult beverages includes beer, tequila, rum punch, and margaritas. (For safety reasons, alcohol is not served until after the completion of the snorkeling portion of the tour.) The Paso Doble also features a shaded seating area, a high-quality sound system, and bathroom facilities.
