Home Port: Marina El Cid in Puerto Morelos (roughly midway between Cancun to the north and Playa del Carmen to the south).
The afternoon breeze and the Pacific Breeze are a perfect match. Our 75-foot catamaran sets a new standard for luxury on the Mayan Riviera. Built for exclusive Mediterranean charters, the Pacific Breeze has been refitted and customized for its new home in the Caribbean. You'll marvel at both the elegance of your accommodations and the exceptional service that only Paradise Catamarans provides. Our only competition is the natural beauty of the reef where your group will snorkel, swim, and relax. Whatever the occasion, we'll make it an afternoon you and your guests will never forget.
The Pacific Breeze has been designed to impress. The teak wood deck sets a striking tone as you step aboard. Seating is available on the deck under the Mayan Riviera sun and in a shaded social area. There's also a spacious cockpit where guests are welcome, as well as two bathrooms.
A premium sound system reaches every corner of our catamaran. We invite our guests to plug in their iPhone/iPod or USB-enabled devices, or play their own CDs. There's even a wide-screen television and DVD player. For a close encounter with the Caribbean, we have sturdy netting to cradle you just a few feet above the water.
Although it's tempting to never leave the Pacific Breeze, the undersea sights of the Riviera Maya are a wonder not to be missed. For the snorkeling portion of your charter tour, we've picked a pristine location off Punta Maroma. While the beach at Punta Maroma is famous for its powdery white sands, the turquoise waters offshore offer snorkelers and swimmers a crystal-clear view of one of the most extensive reef formations along the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. The area is sheltered from strong currents, providing a natural sanctuary to a wide array of tropical marine life and an underwater playground for visitors of all skill levels.
You'll swim at your own pace above the seabed below, with an unhurried view of the coral reef and marine life, under the supervision of your snorkeling guide. A "Fish Identification Card" is available upon request to help you better understand the diversity of the Riviera Maya ecosystem. Whether you are snorkeling in the shallows or exploring deeper areas, you'll enjoy every minute of your time in the water.
Because safety always comes first at Paradise Catamarans, our English-speaking host will conduct a safety briefing as we set sail and provide snorkeling instruction once we reach the reef. We employ professional snorkeling guides with CPR and first aid certifications. One of our guides is assigned to supervise no more than twelve snorkelers.
Our top-quality equipment complements the professionalism of our guides. You'll appreciate our semi-dry, high-performance snorkels. Unlike the cheaper models commonly provided to tourists, the purge valves in semi-dry snorkels minimize the amount of water entering the breathing tubes. Moreover, all of our equipment is sterilized after each use. (For the sake of the environment, we encourage our guests to use the sterilized, high-performance snorkels we stock. However, new single-use snorkel tubes are also available.)
Back aboard the Pacific Breeze, our guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary soft drinks, juices, and bottled water. As an option, you may request a premium international open bar and/or assortment of hors d'oeuvres and sandwiches. Our selection of spirits includes scotch, whisky, vodka, rum, gin, wine, beer, tequila, rum punch, and margaritas. (For safety reasons, alcohol is not served until after the completion of water activities.) Our hors d'oeuvres and sandwiches menu typically includes roast beef baguettes, biscuits with prosciutto and cheese, croissants with ham and cheese, tropical garden and lettuce salad, fresh Mexican salsa with chips, and fresh fruit.

As you approach Puerto Morelos, turn east toward the ocean onto Calle Jose Maria Morelos. Continue for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach Puerto Morelos. Turn south on Niños Héroes and continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach Marina El Cid. At the gate of the marina, please inform the attendant that you are a guest of Paradise Catamarans. Parking is available inside the marina.
14 days before your tour, we will send you an email to remind you of where and when to meet us.
